The Source of Passion I painted this piece when I lived on the Kandik River one hundred miles or so down river from Eagle Alaska. The center was taken on a evening in late August with the return of the nightime sky. We were set up in fish camp looking across the Yukon River. That beautiful river flows into the Bering Sea that has captured my heart in dreams long before I ever set eyes on it. The Arctic tern is an amazing bird that migrates every year from the Arctic to Anarctica and back living the polar summers that are so awesome.
