Judie Gumm, Highbush Cranberry Garnet Gold Plated Earrings
These six mm garnet beads (three on each earring) shimmer with a rosy cachet when backed by these highly reflective gold leaves. Each earring is 1 7/8" by 1/2".
A "high bush" is 3 to 5 feet tall and is covered by clusters of bright red berries that ripen after the first Alaskan frost. The berries are prized by Alaskans for the jam, jellies and sauces that are made from them.
