Craig N. Buchanan, Well-Strung Dollar Well-Strung Dollar is an amalgam of articles found on bulletin boards around the Fairbanks area. 33% of the flyers were found at the College Coffeehouse/ Artworks bulletin board. Well-Strung is the name of a local band that plays there. Flyers from signboards at Safeway, Fred Meyers and the Veterans Center are also included. Signs from people in Fairbanks who are homeless and soliciting for a dollar are also incorporated in the piece.
Craig tells me that his whimsical piece celebrates conversation, human interactions and exchange and hopes to inspire folks to contribute to the cause of homelessness in America.
